Private AI that runs on your phone
MyLLM is an AI assistant for iPhone, iPad and Android that runs open language models directly on the device. No account, no cloud and no telemetry: your chats stay on hardware you control.
Facts as of 15 October 2026 · iOS version 5.9.8 · first released 25 March 2026
In one paragraph
MyLLM downloads an open model such as Qwen 3.5 or Gemma 4 onto the phone and runs it there with llama.cpp on the phone's GPU. The model can chat offline, use tools like the weather, web search, calendar and reminders, read photos, and build small apps. When a job needs a bigger model, MyLLM can connect to one on the user's own Mac or PC, or use the user's own cloud API key. It also uses Apple Intelligence on iPhones that support it.

What the phone's own model does
- Tools, on the phone: date and time, weather, web search, reading a web page, location, calendar, reminders, shared files, and searching your photos (opt-in).
- Photos: describe a picture or read the text in it, without it leaving the device.
- Apps: ask for a tracker, a quiz or a game and it builds one you can keep, in MyLLMos, alongside a gallery of 128 ready-made apps.
- Off-grid mode: chat keeps working with no signal; if a server can't be reached, the phone model can carry on.
- Attune: describe how you like to be answered and the on-device model leans that way, with no training and nothing added to your messages.
- Summarise on This Phone: share a web page or picture from any app and get a summary made on the device.
- Bots: assistants with their own job, notebook and daily duties; hand a chat to one with @Name, and see what they did while you were away.
- Learns quietly: while the phone is idle or charging, the model reads chats back for facts to remember, stored on the device and editable.
Privacy
- No account, no sign-in, no telemetry, no ads.
- On-device replies are recorded in a ledger on the phone that shows, for each reply, whether any tool went online.
- The companion app and its pairing protocol are open source (Apache-2.0), so they can be checked.
Bigger models, your hardware
- Connects to Ollama, LM Studio or any OpenAI-compatible server, on the home network or over HTTPS with a token.
- MyLLM Connect: a free Mac and Windows app that pairs your computer's model with the phone by scanning a QR code.
- Or bring your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Z.ai GLM, Moonshot Kimi, Alibaba Qwen, Mistral, xAI Grok or Groq, and switch between them from the chat.
- 45+ built-in tools, 80+ more one tap away, MCP servers and Agent Skills.
Price
Free for 7 days with everything included. Then £0.99 a month, £9.99 a year, or £29.99 once for life (UK prices). No ads, no tiers: every option unlocks all of MyLLM.
Questions
- Is MyLLM a cloud chatbot?
- No. By default the model runs on the phone. It only talks to a server you choose: your own computer, or a provider you hold a key for.
- Which phones does it support?
- iPhone and iPad on iOS 17 or later, and Android. Larger models need more memory; the app shows which ones your phone can run.
- Where is the documentation?
- The user guide covers every feature. Inside the app, ask MyLLM "how do I…" and it answers for your version.
- Who makes it?
- Opticell Limited, a UK company.
